"Login failed for unknown reason" error
Missing additional character slot for current/ lapsed Gold Members
Slow patching in the launcher
A bug that involved Romulan Liberated Borg captains and their skills once they chose an ally
No match was suppose to be advanced vs advanced then changed to defiant but they brought a fleet one not a normal one so whatever 9k shields and 25k hull vs 12k shields 40k+ hull and 3x turn-rate with transphasic cluster kinda imposable. t4 ship vs t6 was fun in a way I just wanted to see if I could do it. I still think I can just have to get the rite bo setup...
And those mines are op regardless of what you want to believe. I didn't say nothing about p2w so stop the lies I said lulz my explosive decompression loves trics or something like that then the ****alk and lies flowed from said person. Anyway ill try it again soon my t4 vs their t6 ship. If they want to fight t6 vs my t6 1vs1 anything goes their side my ship clean - the ship (because all t6 ships are p2w) ill do it and I will win!
And no gg for ****alkers and liers that is why I don't say it to said person

Just so everyone knows i dont care what anyone runs or doesnt run. I was complaining months ago about tach mines being a bit op.Then i thought in a game that has endless shield resists wich is what is truley broken in this game. I began to see tach mines as kind of refreshing in a game were shield resist and shield heals dominate and most other forms of shield busting are extinct .My original intent was to point out that i think everyone uses some form of p2w and opinions differ on what that is.From my experience the community can jump to conclusions on what is broken or op before everyone knows the facts. Every ship or console that comes out everyone says op broken and then after a few weeks ppl find counters and strategy and it just becomes more annoying then actually broken. Isnt that part of the fun and the challenge dont we want new stuff?i like most of you played this game for 2yrs before f2p give or take. Where we had 3 line patch notes with this belt buckle on this npc was changed. So i love The fact that cryptic is adding new things to the game and find it part of the fun to counter it or use it. Im not saying there arent things that are broken or need balance just saying very few things are game breaking, very few things have no counter. So are they annoying or broken.I like the fact that some fleets take it as a challenge to use builds that in there opinion are clean, and beat the teams that use whatever they want. So be like them win or lose say gg and move on. From what i understand everyone in this game is so good they win without cheese and can beat anyone that uses cheese so whats the big deal.

I like this statement very much. ^^
A few counters for tachyon mines that come to my mind:
Fire At Will (possibly with some Sensors skill)
Torpedo Spread
Photonic Shockwave
Gravity Well
Tractor Beam Repulsors
A carrier with its fighters set to Intercept
In other words, such mines make dedicated crowd control builds useful in PvP. Isn't that a good thing?
Too bad DPB makes it so you can lay them every 12 seconds.
And all of those "counters" up there have longer cooldowns.
Plus all those abilities can also be used in conjunction with the laying.
And what does a ship give up for the opportunity to lay these mines? One rear weapon slot, and an LT power. And an Escort with AP Doffs can slot one DPB easily without having to gimp itself.

I would like to know wh you put counters in quotation marks?
You have to combine them, obviously. But fighters on intercept don't really have a cooldown, so that will usually work, especially when you have more than one hangar on your team per enemy mine launcher.

That's a valid point.
I think that's where the problem's solution could lie: By increasing opportunity cost to use them, or decreasing the benefit, they will be made balanced easily. For example, slightly increasing the cooldown.
I see where they can be useful to a point but when someone can strip off 9k shields every time one hits plus the debuff without giving up anything... when fighting anyone with these you mise well just take off your shields.
And there is no endless shield resistance or no one would ever die in matches.... Just look at the people saying damage is op!

All that "counters" can't be used in a normal escort except TS.I am flying a raptor ,all I can use is torpedo spread now.Too bad that TS has common cd with THY wich I also use regulary.
Anyway it is not a problem I can use some p2w consoles against a mine laying ship.
I just figured out now , actually i think it will be interesting such a fight.
kdf are the only ones with a real counter to these its the assimilatior which is a bit op vs mines and targetable torps. What it all ends up being is they don't test stuff before it is released. When feds get the assimilatior mines will be worthless in pvp also area effect will be more worthless except torp spread. the way pvp is going in the game we will all be flying power-drain assimilatior dropping ships.
We will end up running off the people that cant swipe mommies credit card to compete. I chose not to run things like this unless I am in a private match with a friend and we are doing it for fun. The tac cubes in stfs don't stand a chance vs these I should make a video with a maranda using trics and these ha!
i think most folks will find that the folks who actually dump money into this game for the C-Store ships and such have little to no knowledge to actually fit and fly them and end up with a fail fit and cant fight for **** cause they think"oh look at my fancy expensive ship and all theses fancy consoles, im totally gunna win now" then end up failing against a F2P person who actually learned to play the game and fly the ship he owns.
