I had to manually change the filename to: Costume_stofoundryphiles_Quinn.jpg

But it did load. I'm not sure if it's perfect but I didn't see any obvious signs of data corruption.

One odd note is that the game shows it as having been created by "lincolninspace" so the original creator is stored inside the image somehow.

Glad that it works, but honestly from my perspective, it's an extra step that only serves to complicate a very simple process. I don't want to have to be renaming every costume file I download in order to make them work.

deviantart is not my choice of venue for this sort of thing.
And the download link only opens the image in a pop up window.
It's not a direct file download.
Works just fine though.

because it does that.... I'm not sure exactly what was NEEDED, but your file name didn't start with "Costume". It worked after I changed that.

NOTE: I suspect that this is because the files are saved in the same folder as actual ingame screen shots.

Getting the file from DA isn't too hard. Click the original file link then right click and "save as".

I understand. Da adds to the filename to protect artists from piracy. Its one more step to rename the files. Kind of a pain.

I'm not sure the suffix matters. My manual rename did NOT have the full suffix.

See the difference? When I did the manual rename I left out everything after the character name and Foundry didn't care.

All I typed in was Costume_(playername)_(charname). It worked. Having the suffixes that DA tacks on might not be an issue. I haven't tried it yet.

Ok I tested: Costume_stofoundryphiles_Quinn_by_stofoundryphiles-d5s49ad.jpg and it worked just fine.

Maybe the devs could make this post sticky and it could be a place for authors to share their ground and ship costumes.
