Hi,

Just started playing STO about a month ago & I've started the romulan & omega reputation grind.

I play a tactical toon who fly's an escort & I'd love some advice at to which lvl 1 rewards are best for dps characters. I could go just dps & take +3% critical chance (Romulan) & +30 wep dmg or I could take the rewards that strengthen your shields & regenerates health.

What do people tend to take?

Well I play a liberated borg engineer with an Odysssey assault cruiser. I decided to mix it up. When I choosed a damage skill from the romulan reputation I choosed a shield skill from the borg reputation rewards.

An escort is a very powerful ship, but if you play STFs on elite or PvP you also need good shields. Otherwise you are dead in seconds.

If you are DPS character, there really is only 1 choice. +crit chance and +weap proficiency.
