Sorry to add to the thousands experiencing this problem but I am another one to add to the list. What really shocks me though is reading the posts and being surprised what lengths STO players have to go to to resolve the poor work by Cryptic!!! I bet Techsupport are sitting there drinking coffee just waiting for us to sort it out. These constant tech issues are really putting this game in the #can I be bothered' category.

That is the updater program for Java. So its unrelated. Your laptop is wanting to update your current version of java with a new one. Which I would recommend letting it do.

The launcher opens up but its got nothing there just a white box with the message

"Loading, Please Wait"

What is wrong with the launcher this time? and also any advice appreciated also how do u add pics to here as i can show you then.

Good point Frojoe! I do agree that it feels like there is a lack of updates.. But they may feel that it is pointless to update without any news.. Not sure.. Can't speak for them.. I do agree an occasional update would be nice!

If I hazard a guess it might be a router from atlas.cogentco.com, I am a bit rusty but was that not AT%T once?

Either way it might be a switch outside of Cryptics scope so like us they have a log a fault call and find out what has happened.

Routing in the WWW is a nightmare so bare with them.

It's just switched to that for me as well.

Well, I say 'just' I hadn't actually checked in about half an hour, so it may have switched a while ago. Still not actually loading the game though.

Thanks... I guess. an estimated ETA would be really helpful though. the next 2 hours is the only time I have to play all week. I'd like to know if I'm wasting my time waiting here.
