It's possible that some people might be confusing (Badaching!) AMS with Scramble Sensors considering how OFTEN it gets used being an easy to slot console vs a harder to slot BOFF power.

That's my mistake based on the similar visual effects of AMS and SS I assumed the "confuse" was a subset of placate, or vice versa, rather than a distinct ability. I'd also thought in the past SS and AMS shared an immunity, so I didn't think there was an under the hood distinction.

I guess that just leaves jam sensors which I'd still rather not be effected by a placate cooldown given how situational dependent and underused it is.

Someone mentioned "AMS/SS chains" and you had a vague-ish response that could have been misunderstood that SS was getting lumped into this category. I know I understood it that way and the way Scramble has been treated in the past helped me get to that assumption as well. Thanks for clarifying, however.

Agreed. Ultra-long immunity periods hurt team play.

There are those who say DHCs Escorts are favored and that we are actually playing Escorts Online. IDK if I agree with all of that, or where most of the community comes down on this.

I do think that a smaller window of immunity favors those ships and captains who do more of their damage in a smaller period of time...
