Noticed it yesterday. Tested this morning. Fermion field's healing effect is being cancelled out when scattering field AND sci fleet are activated. The tooltip reads as "This ability cannot be activated at the same time as the Quantum Focus Field Phaser, Fermion Field, or Quantum Focus Shield Bubble." I'm assuming that either this is a tooltip error in which "Fermion Field" should be "Scattering Field". Or that "Fermion Field" should actually be "Perfect Shield".

As Fermion Field is a console and does not share a ship system with Scattering Field I don't understand why it should be cancelled out when using Scattering Field. Also why is it being cancelled out when I use my Science Fleet? Has anyone else in the pvp community experienced this with their Vesta?

i just used mine without issue...

he's not saying that the field doesnt work, he's trying to say that the heal that the fermion field gives is not working as intended while scattering field is up. the visuals are, but the heal is not.

That explains why Fermion feels weaker since the patch.

Is this issue occuring We've tested this and are not seeing the power cancel out by activating scattering field, nor sci fleet. If it is, please provide detailed repo steps so I can pass them along.

i saw a vesta deploy both at the same time yesterday

Yes this issue is occuring. I had an escort drop me down to 50% while sitting still. When activating the Fermion Field by itself it worked appropriately. The healing ticked and I got credit for it on the scoreboard. Then I had the escort repeat and drop a facing and bring my hull down to 50%. I then stacked the Fermion Field with Scattering Field and the healing from the Fermion Field did not tick onto the scoreboard. The escort dropped my hull again to 50% and I stacked the Fermion Field with Science Fleet and recieved no credit for the heal on the scoreboard. And Finally I stacked it with both Scattering Field and Science Fleet at 50% and recieved no healing effect/credit on the Scoreboard when activating this skill.

I'm not saying you cannot deploy the Fermion Field with either Scattering Field, Science Fleet or both. I'm Saying that when you do the visual for one, two or all three are there but the healing effect/credit for the heals from the Fermion Field are not registering.

So I just tested again but this time with Hilbert. Its working as intended. But I assure you it was NOT before today's patch Brandon. And I had the other player verify what I thought I was seeing on the scoreboard. We tested the same way I did yesterday today and everything stacks fine. However you're tooltip for Fermion still reads incorrectly. "This ability cannot be activated at the same time as the Quantum Focus Field Phaser, Fermion Field, or Quantum Focus Shield Bubble."
