the scale it works on is microscopic, but... it's very cool.

On 21 may 2013, the lag in Star Trek online transcended EPIC! to become near complete Temporal Stasis.
Do not panic. The time distortion effect should end soon.

I saw this on the news the other day too. As markhawkman said, it works on the microscopic level. But it's a good start. It may take decades to develop so it'll be capable of pulling larger solid objects but it is a very interesting start. And yea, very cool!
