I must be a dummie or something, it may be staring me right in the face, but I cant use or assign any more bridge officers, just swap them around with an empty slot. I have tried to drag them over physically with the mouse assigned them to space , got more duty officers nothing is working for me. What is going on!

Do I need to discharge one of my bridge officers to get more? (which I dont want to really do)

Someone please tell me! How to do this or have I got a bug??

(mind you looking at this thread, someone doe's suggest going back to smaller ship and re-arrange there to solve this, I will try this to see if this helps)

Do you mean assigning officers to stations on your active ship?

Also BOffs =/= DOffs - the former are like companions, the latter are like trading cards.

So if you buy the two slots do you get to more stations on your current ship for officers? Also are they considered universal stations?

BO Slots (for Bridge Crew) has nothing to do with ship console seat stations, which are a property of the ship type (e.g. cruiser, escort, science) and tier level...
