And i sell em on a daily basis. Go to the vendor if you like, but the exchange gives most money.

You have to know when to sell and to appraise the stats of your gear. When someone has just dumped a haul for little to none, wait 30-60 minutes and THEN offer your gear.

When you have good stats on your gear then you don't have to go cheap. Quality sells.

Doing it like this, i make roughly 2-3M a day while i have only 1-2 hours a day. Most of that time is doing the dilitium runs and the rest in some elite STF.

In fact, I can regularly clean house on the exchange by systematically searching each category one quality/Mk level combo at a time and buying up everything that's posted for less than 50% - just today I made around 2 million EC just being lazy and feeding junk off the exchange to vendors.
Mk level combo? Not quite sure what you're saying, what combo? And, how much does discarding/recycling stuff get you, 30% or so?

He's talking about the combination of the items MK level and color quality.

Discarding an item gives you 40%.

They give the same price as any vendor in ESD, DS9 or anywhere else

No, he's saying he'll go look at, for example, starship weapons. He'll set the drop box to very rare, then type in mk xii. He'll make selections. Then type in mk xi. Make selections. Maybe change to rare. Type in mk xii again. Make selections. Type in xi...

The point is he's looking at all the items in a category which are the same rarity and mk lvl, and then move to another rarity/mk combination.

I just sell all my loot to the dilithium store vendor hangar section. It gives 50% also and I don't have to walk to a vendor. Too bad it doesn't give dil though lol.

Actually it seems that the dil store gives 40%, last time I really looked.

I feed my white and green loot drops to the vendors.

Blues and purples go into the exchange - the most I've made once was 1.1mil for a Mk XII Purple Phaser Cannon [Acc]x3. I'd imagine that if I did the Children's Toys assignment chain I could have potentially earned more.

Nope, it's definitely 50%. Just double checked before typing this post. But only in the hangar section.
