the lock box ships mostly rub me the wrong way. im a fleet ship guy, id rather have a fed ship, or a cloak on the kdf side. but im pretty sure i want a jem heavy for my fed, i might finally cave on that.
I guess I'm stupid, I run the Fleet Norgh, and sometimes the Fleet Hoh'sus, in Pvp. (they're the ONLY fleet ships I own...both are on my Tac.) For non-tacticals, I generally just do ground-less complexity in ground, what OP items are in it, are known and, with a good team, avoidable/suppressable.
"when you're out of Birds of Prey, you're out of ships."
Look into Vanilla PvP if you're tired of the endless pursuit of grind, utterly unbalanced selections of geardo-inspired traits, and generally unbalanced and careless 'development' made mostly to turn this game into a second job.
Fleet Scourge - haven't used it for a while but a nice escort.

I owned the Hoh'Sus for a stint, but next to the Jem'Hadar and the Temporal Science Vessel, you can see the shortcomings pretty clearly. The Scourge Destroyer - I have great admiration and respect for this ship.
And with all the kinetic dmg being thrown around lately, didn't really enjoy running from a fight all the time.
Certainly will look towards the Negh'Var for my engy and the Vo'qov for my sci down the line.
My favourite looking KDF ship - has always been the K'T'inga. For me, it's the iconic KDF ship next to the B'Rel.
