I really get annoyed when my boffs use this as it is just in my way. When I ma in an entryway I get stuck. It serves no purpose as you can't shoot through it or go through it.

I must admit a forcefield tuned to the same frequency as your weapons would be better so you could shoot through it but your enemies cant.

I'm afraid then you'll just have to wait until you get somewhere you can retrain it. What do you expect, do you want them to remove this skill from the game just so you can finish the mission you're on?

Yup, just train it away.

That said, it would be nice to be able to deactivate existing cover shields. A misplaced CS can do more harm than good, locking team members inside rooms or obstructing their field of fire.

I don't play as an Engineer anymore (though my fed was one), but I've had both of the above happen to me when teamed with CS-happy engineers.

It is said the best weapon is one that is never fired. I disagree. The best weapon is one you only have to fire... once.
Tired of Wasting EC and Time trying to get Superior Romulan Operative BOffs? Here's a cheap and easy way to get them, with an almost 100% chance of success.
