***Resolved Issues***
  • "Login failed for unknown reason" error
  • Missing additional character slot for current/ lapsed Gold Members
  • Slow patching in the launcher
  • A bug that involved Romulan Liberated Borg captains and their skills once they chose an ally

Adverts for Neverwinter don't bother me because Neverwinter is being developed by Cryptic. It was in development by Cryptic long before they were a part of PWE.

But yeah if I saw one of PWE's other games being advertised I would be annoyed.

I actually DO take offense of NWN being pimped, also with "Like us on Facebook" ....

OMG! - A game developer is pimping a new game they're working on, in an existing game made by the self same developer. INSANITY!

(That's intended sarcasm just in case it doesn't come through in text posts)

The point - ALL game developers do this. The practice is nothing new, and person ally, I don't see the reason for any outrage. It's just an ad - not an announcement that STO is being abandoned/shutdown, and try our new replacement (see NCSoft's shutdown of CoX for something like that.)

Speaking of Facebook, the STO page is starting to push out adverts for C-Store items. Something's definitely up. I wonder if sales are hurting for them...

I'm not too fond of Neverwinter, especially since the quality of STO and CO seem to suffer as a result of Neverwinter's development. So yeah, get that junk out of my launcher Cryptic.

Glad to see the manufactured outrage is still going strong. It lets me know that STO is still a pretty awesome game.
