So I was thinking: The starship damage mechanic from elite difficulty is actually pretty neat, and it would be cool if that could be an option in PVP.
But of course there would be a question of how to implement it. Obviously all those injuries could get really annoying and increase the opportunity cost to play those sorts of games- but in game they could easily just be ignored by players with lots of components.
So I came up with an answer for each.
1. All your PVP ship injuries heal at the end of a match.
2. Your PVP ship injuries can't be repaired by components like PvE injuries can.
