Simple: With The LTS Borg, you're stuck with 2 traits, that you can't change. There is litteraly only a few props setting Alien and LTS Borg apart...
Also, with the Alien you can change it into whatever you want when you get bored of the Borg.

Um, how is it "unfair" exactly? Personally I would think it would be unfair if every F2Per suddenly had access to the Liberated Borg.
BTW, There is a male Liberated Borg science officer.
