Equpment-type: Hangar - Type 8/10 shuttles

Concern: Lack of useful function relative to other Fighter-type pets. Chiefly, they seem utterly superfluous in the face of Peregrine, Stalker, and Scorpion Fighters as well as Shield Drones. Their in-built Polarize Hull is of little-to-no practical use. Their weapons are not of any appreciable use relative to fighters, which even eclipse them in the Intercept role. There is no situation where slotting the Type 8/10's is an option that is of equal or greater value than any other hangar pet. They are always flatly inferior to other Fighter-options in all capacities.

All requests added to list. Now for Cryptic to respond ;P

has anyone experienced a global 2 minute cooldown on everything today including weapons? I experienced it in a pvp match as well as STF's. Only happened since the patch today (14th Feb)

Also the Bridge officer thing is just ........

Haven't patched just yet. What Bridge Officer thing?

I'll keep my eyes open, though, and see if I can corroborate your observations.

I have. I got it once or twice on most of my characters, but I have one character who goes into 2 minute lock-down every time they fire a weapon. The bug is reported, and Cryptic is tracking on it.

The thing that's weird is that for me, the trigger is firing weapons using a bind, but I've seen someone else do it clicking on an Engineering Team. And my bugged character is still bugged if I play on a different computer.

I would just like to know from Cryptic if it is at all possible to seperate skills between PvP and PvE scenarios.

For example Tachyon beam 3 shield drain in PvP would be 1000 per second for 5 seconds but in PvE it would be something like 4000 per second for 5 seconds.

Category: General abilities
Equipment: Torpedoes/Mines
Problem: Torpedo/Mine crew death proc too common/not in line with tooltip procs

There seem to be two problems related to torpedoes and mines. The first is that it seems that all torpedoes/mines have a chance to cause crew disable/death, even when it's not a listed proc; for example, chronitons can cause crew death although they don't have the crew death proc. (Compare to photon and quantum torpedoes, which DO have this proc.)

The second is that crew death procs aren't in line with what the tooltip reports; instead of taking the lesser magnitude numbers, it always takes the more negative (and thus greater in magnitude) crew death proc. For example, photon torpedoes say "50% chance: Lesser of -20 or -20% Able Crew"; however, it seems that on my 2500-crew Odyssey it always takes -20% able crew (up to -500 crew), instead of the -20 that the proc would indicate that it should. Oddly enough, it seems that on a 50-crew escort, instead of the -20% that it should take (which would equal -10 crew), it always takes the -20 crew instead. This suggests a coding error; instead of the lesser value in terms of magnitude (absolute value, so |-20| < |-500|), it's taking the numerically lower value (-500 < -20).

Together, these seem (ironically) lead to escorts having higher active crew in combat when compared to cruisers/sci vessels, if they try to get it. Escorts, with low crew values, suffer lower values of actual crew death (as low as -20, compared to -500 on the 2500-crew Oddy). I'm not sure, but this may also tie in with differences in crew regeneration and lead the stories we hear of escorts being able to have all of their crew active in combat, while a cruiser with any size crew struggles to even keep a small fraction of the crew active.

Doff: Deflector Duty Officer (Purple)
Issue: It does not affect Tachyon beam at all, it does not affect Energy siphon at all, sets Gravity well cd to 40 instead of 30 seconds.

(According to the tooltip, it has chance to reduce cool down to 50%.)
I think it's a huge disadvantage of the sci vessels, because escorts and cruisers have their own cd reducing doffs and those are working.
