# 1 Odyssey Build Help

Been gone for a while and I am trying to get back into the game. I have updated my weapons and I am working on the two reps and I was wondering if my build is still viable for PVE? Thanks for any help.

Mostly the same, though the depending on how long you've been gone the Borg punch a little harder in STFs (more bleedthrough damage) since S7 started. Also the old 3-piece-borg+MACO shield set isn't as good anymore, as the Assimilated Module was moved to be part of a different set (Omega Weaponry, with the Kinetic Cutting Beam and Omega Torpedo). Now you'll only get the borg hull heal (but no shield heal) unless you use the complete Assimilated set. Also might want to pick up a Kinetic Cutting Beam in place of one of your aft beam arrays, as combined with the Assimilated Module it gives a random proc that gives you basically a short Nadeon Inversion to help with the broadside drains. Overall though, not THAT different than before.

I think it is redundant, using the Lt. Cmd. Universal slot also for an engineer. As an engineer you already have a lot of self healing options and the universal slot could be used for more tactical options.

The most important change would probably be the addition of the Kinetic Cutting Beam so you can get the Borg weapon 2-piece. I would also say that the single RCS accelerator has very little effect, especially on a slow cruiser, I would advise moving the Borg module to its slot, and getting yourself a third Field Gen.

You may want to consider the new Romulan Energy Conduit console, to help get your Crit chance up. A Tachyokinetic Converter would also be a great addition.
