Nice to see the devs think from time to time that Star Trek also includes some Enterprise(s) and not just defiants. lol

Seriously when i see how many times Cryptics uses the Galaxy class as advertisement i have to laugh. On the outside they use this and some other iconic cruisers for advertisement but in game they are just supporters for Cryptics beloved escorts.

This bothers me especially with the Galaxy class Cryptic, isn't even ashamed of using the worst ship in game for advertisement. I just hate double moral standarts like this.

Sorry for coming up with the same thing over and over again, but i just can't stand the carelessness and ignorance to Star Trek with what Cryptic is making a Star Trek game.

As for a KDF version, while I am all for a little love for the KDF side, in this case the specific theme doesn't not really led itself to a "KDF version"

Whether it is a weakness of the TV shows being Starfleet centric or not, the KDF does not have an identifiable Ship like the Enterprise. So even having a "Cruiser" wallpaper (d7, Vorcha, Neghvar, Bortas) isn't quite the same.

Yes We DO... it is known as the "Vengence" and much like your federations "Enterprise" is the product of a popular entertainment program "Battlecriuser Vengence.. And it is a Battlecruiser class vessle. This show is also well known for scantily clad females of various races that fall prey to the masculine charms of the ships warrior captain.

The first "Vengence" was a D-2-3 (it's been so long..use the old T-2 Battlecruiser), followed later by a D-4 class battlecruiser (Koro't'inga)that underwent constant refitting untill the advent of the D-7/K't'inga class. Later in its history it was superceeded by a Kamarag class cruser, followed by a Vorcha, and Vor'Kang. With the final version of the ship being a much enlarged version of the Vorcha, heavily stylized known as the Chancellor class (fictional?). It has since been replaced in the empire wide Tri-D production with a Bortasq class vessle. Considering that Battlecruiser Vengence has been in production since before the founding of the Federation, I'm surprised you have not heard of it. Perhapes you federation types are not as cultured as you claim?

Thanks for this.
well, technically theres a sloop rigged Enterprise of the Continental Navy that served in 1775. A Schooner class that served in 1776. Another Schooner rigged Enterprise that was later refitted as a Brig that served from 1799-1823. Another schooner rigged enterprise that served from 1831 to 1844. A Barque-rigged Screw Sloop-class that served from 1877-1909. A Motor Torpedo Boat that served from 1917 to 1919. the CV-6 Enterprize of World War-II 1938 to 1947. CV-65 U.S.S. Enterprise, the first nuclear powered carrier 1961 to 2012.....

and lastly the Enterprise space shuttle (which was not full sized, created and used for testing the areodynamics of the shuttle while being ferried).

SO a total of 7 Enterprise which have served as military ships of the
United States (so far), and one Experimental test space ship.

A beautiful line-up of some of Starfleet's more iconic vessels.

Although I have to say that I'm quite surprised to actually see a Galaxy class here
given that the folks over at Cryptic actually envisioned the Enterprise-D to look quite different
from what used to see on the screen.

As evidenced here:

Updated the link. It should display the picture now.

It is truly ridiculous that they choose to spotlight obvious errors and bugs in their ships.

If I remember correctly, the only 'obvious' bug that a non-Trek fan could actually see is the Enterprise-A nacelle that you've already mentioned... then they'd move on because it's a minor visual bug, as opposed to many other more important ones.

So I highly doubt it's even on the scale of ridiculousness, let alone have a spot there. My two cents

I find it to be ridiculous, as this game does not necessarily cater to "non-trek" fans. Also, the Ent A is an iconic ship, and players want to fly canon and iconic ships. To have it misrepresented is a tragedy.
