A bug that involved Romulan Liberated Borg captains and their skills once they chose an ally
The full Borg shield set synergizes with the Borg weapon/console set.
That said, the Borg shield doesn't work as nicely on escorts as it does on science ships and cruisers. the Borg shield set isn't a 4-piece deal anymore so it's generally better to just run straight MACO on escorts.
If you really wana be an ahole in pvp run 2 piece borg set with elite fleet shields...pve run maco +borg 2 piece (not the adaptied its pretty much KDF Honnor guard shield not any good sept for being annoying)
