Its been a long time since I've flown a fed carrier, I haven't really flown one since they nerfed the Danubes...my question is with the tractor beam nerf are they still better dps than the Delta Flyers?

I would say the advanced danubes are still slightly superior,yes.

They are still effective in tractor spam builds.

Okay one more question, I decided to give them a go last night and I couldn't use the tranctor on my own ship, is that because of the danubes or did I get some weird bug?

you have a science officer on your active bridge stations with a tractor beam power in the proper grade to be used buy its current station, right?

Yeah...its a commander sci slot...my GW III worked fine, but the tractor beam button was blacked out and didn't work.

are you close enough to it? the tractor beam has a range of like... 5km i think? maybe less.

Yeah I'm sure, I park only around 2k away when I'm destroying generators in khitomer and I wasn't able to tractor them or anything.

Probably just a bug, just flew with my Danubes and my TB worked fine.
