I think that the little map in the top right of the screen should be 3d. Or in other words Add a Z axis to it. It would be helpful

Before 3D mini-maps are added the ones we already have need to be increased in resolution for when zoomed in.

that minimap looks like something from a 90s era rts.

and even back then 3d maps where available.
colony wars, g-police and homeworld all had minimaps/radars that make the one in sto outdated eyesore.
t6 cruiser? keep it, i'd rather have aux to dampers 3.
as it turns out, an intrepid would lose a fight with a connie.
and thats canon.
