I am really getting tired of constantly being shot down as soon as I am revived by a boff.

I have no threat enhancements yet they keep coming at me for no fing reason.

i don't know if it's the true cause of your problem, but NPC's tend to use spread weapons far more often than players do. Also, NPC's have damage buffs that players don't, so they wind up mowing down your entire crew with rapid-fire pistols.

So inhumane superweapons, mass murder, and canon nonsense is okay, but speedos are too much for some people.

No that isn't the issue.

When I posted I was fighting a non named klingon officer with 4 bars and every time I called for help and got revived, he would go after me no matter what other boffs were attacking him.

It really pisd me off as I kept dying.

Because despite how apparently new at this you are, you're still doing better than your boffs are, and thus, generate the most threat anyway. Boffs are pretty crap when it comes to fighting, and thus practically never hold aggro.

Besides, ask yourself: If you were the NPCs, who would YOU be shooting?

I guess aggro isn't the same on death like every other MMOG then.

I couldn't even move away to another downed boff without him turning to me ignoring the other boff shooting him.

It is... irrelevant ... if I were an NPC. It is the way the game is coded then, to piss you off.

You're not "dead" until you respawn. And I'm not entirely sure that this causes them to forget you, it's entirely common for NPCs to follow you all the way back to the spawn point and then spawncamp your corpse. I like this about them, really, it makes them seem more player-like.

Best thing you can do is make one boff a pure healer. That will solve most death related problems.

because some of your naughty boff painted a bullseye with "shoot me here please" text on your uniform.

That (with Nanite Health Monitor at Cmdr.) and a Tac officer with Draw Fire. And a Cover Shield wouldn't hurt to have along either.
