Excellent and insightful

But i thought the point of the thread was how not to be terrible. Well that's easy. Find a team willing to help with a healer, science and dps and coordinate with them.

That's how not to be terrible. Now if you want to be good to great then please reread above

This thread is golden. I'll refer this to my fleet as soon as I get online again.

I've already adopted the "I know I'm not going to win, but that's perfectly okay" attitude ever since I started doing PVP on a regular basis, but the rest is very valuable information.

Jorf you forget the most important rule must have atleast 4 ships with extends. That way when 1 guy has to urinate in the hour long match you can still maintain max resist on 3 players.

In Tsi we have the bottle rule, have a bottle for those long games.
