Has the /costumecreator.setslottype command been disabled so we can no longer use it as a workaround for this bug?

Well there is supposed to be some kinda of update to character creation/costumes (sometime in the future)? so who knows, we might get lucky!

(just realized this current thread is technically necro'd, AND it has had over 12000 views.. this is an old problem that lots of people know about, yet it hasn't been fixed x.x)
Your Heavy Graviton Beam deals 26470 (10583) Kinetic Damage(Critical) to Assimilated Carrier.

I've not heard of this work around, how does it work?

Firstly, yes, it's been disabled/fixed and no longer works whilst the Marauding Boffs still can't be edited - nice priorities there Cryptic.

Secondly, it allowed you to mix and match clothing pieces from everything you owned which is why you might see characters running around in Omega Armor with a MACO helmet (and a plethora of other combinations).

This also allowed KDF players to edit the features of their Marauding Boffs by changing their appearance and allowing players to select clothes from the 'Off-Duty' tab (my Marauder Boffs are wearing the C-Store 'Mercenary' outfit for example).

Sadly, even this less-than-perfect solution is no longer available to us.

I can't believe I created this thread over a year ago and it still hasn't been fixed yet.

Don't feel too bad. The TNG and DS9 combadges still clip after almost two years.

Still, I agree with you. I wish I could customize my boff too.

I still want bare feet.... on ALL costumes.

How disappointing. I was looking forward to my renegade BOFF. It's a bit deflating that I can't buff him up now. I guess until then, my KDF captain will just have to kick his scrawny little man-butt from one side of Omega Leonis to the other until he learns to toughen up (read: Cryptic please fix mods for cross-faction BOFFs).

I may give him a bio to that effect..
