I'm torn on this. I'm looking into running a full cannon build on my Jem attack ship and which way to go with it.

The base spec I would be working with is: (if someone thinks I should move stuff around don't hesitate to give advice). I'm using advanced fleet weaponry. All gear is MK XII purps, All doffs are purps.

Com Tact - TT1, CSV1, CRF2, CRF3
Lt Com Tact - TT1, APB1, APO1
Ens Eng - EPW1
Lt Uni 1 (science) - HE1, TSS2
Lt Uni 2 (Eng) - EPS1 or EPW1, APSIF1

Doffs would be 3 cannon ones and 2 emergency power ones

Tact consoles would be all the dmg of whichever way i go (you will see in a second)
3 universal consoles i use are Tach converter, Borg and Zero point, currently using an rcs accelerator (probably need to dump for something else), and a neutronium alloy.
Devices are Red matter capacitor and Subspace field modulator.

So of these two setups which would output the most dmg:

Fore - 4 Poloran DHC's
Aft - 2 Polaron Turrets, Borg Cutting Beam
Jem Hadar MK XII space set.

OR

Fore - 4 Antiproton DHC's
Aft - 2 Antiproton turrets
Assimilated MK XI space set. (would upgrade to MK XII once i hit rep lvl)

The other option would be I stick with my current Cannon/Torp set up which uses the above mentioned consoles with this boff layout:
2 Tact Team Doffs, 3 Torp Doffs

Com Tact - TT1, THY2, CRF2, CRF3
Lt Com Tact - TS1, CSV1, APB2
Ens Eng - EPW1
Lt Uni 1 (science) - HE1, TSS2
Lt Uni 2 (Eng) - EPS1 or EPW1, APSIF1

Fore - 3 Polaron DHC's, Quantum Torp Launcher (would upgrade to omega plasma torp launcher once i unlock the rep lvl)
Aft - 2 Poloran Turrets, Borg Cutting Beam
Jem Hadar MK XII Space Set

Or I could use my current boff/doff setup and use:

Fore - 3 Antiproton DHC's, Quantum Torp Launcher (would upgrade to omega plasma torp launcher once i unlock the rep lvl)
Aft - 2 Antiproton Turrets, Borg Cutting Beam
Assimilated Space Set MK XI (would upgrade to MK XII once i hit rep lvl)

Pros: Did somebody say regen? , turn rate, tractor beam makes things go boom
Cons: No weapon modifiers

Pros: +13.1% Polaron Damage, -1638.9.1 Shields on up to 5 enemies, bonus weapon power
Cons: No inherent regen


Any thoughts/suggestions.
