It seems like you are not good in PVP, and is simply butthurt over it.

Honestly, instead of whining like a kid who dropped his candy, you should try to get a better build for yourself.

it's not the ship or the build, it's the atitude

Well, I already said in many threads that science is best at the debuffing and energy drain capacity. Do not try to outdamage an escort.

There are a lot of threads with suggestions in them, and you can also make one about asking help for your science pvp build instead of whining.

Tyken's rift, energy siphon, and targeting subsystems is rather nasty. Remember, the escort can't kill you with low weapon power.

Get a sensor duty officer for the Sensor Scan. A good one will give debuff that reduces enemy damage greatly, and increases damage done to your target.

Also.... subnucleonic beam. Strip all those useful tactical buffs.

And the insult may have been petty, but it was sure needed.

Maybe it will get him off his high nerf horse and get him to try to better his build instead.

Oh. Not buying aircars from the Ordos is Heresy.

So what you're saying is...you posted in the wrong thread.
Maal, Klingon, Mogh - Vegar, Orion, Marauder - R'ebel, Romulan, Haakona
Willard the Rat, Reman, F.T'varo - Rave, J.Trill, Kar'Fi - Mysk, Gorn, Varanus
Kopor, Nausicaan, Guramba - Nivuh, Ferasan, B'rel - Venit, Lethean, M.Qin

That was from Ker'rat. Took forever to find somebody to drop Theta...meh.

Yet, in SB24...at 101/700 Crew - the repair rate was 39%.

Disruptor Breach.

Need to find somebody with Disruptors to shoot me - see if the same thing happens there.

edit: Thanks to @nixtux for testing at Cracked. Appears it's just the NPC version that does it. The player one didn't.

edit2: Course one thing that stood out was how the recalculations are off - had to reset BOFFs to get it back to the base rate after each death.
virusdancer, what exactly are you still trying to test? I'm curious because I already linked my other thread with a lot of test results and a mathematical formula for computing the hull regeneration rate.

My thing is more about the recalculation issues than the calculation issues. The way the numbers change after death, after zoning, etc. The numbers change. Sometimes you have to reslot a BOFF or reslot a SIF.

There's similar issues for the Jem'Hadar Deflector and how it boosts Perception. Sometimes you have to reslot it. There are issues with Defense where on a warp-in it doesn't calculate it correctly.

Those sort of things.

Yes, I also noticed that sometimes the hull repair rate seems to be "sticky". Even when you are back to 100% crew and out of combat, the wrong number is displayed until you do something that resets it mysteriously.

Also, I believe that the hull repair rate and the number of able crew are not updated simultaneously. Some of the screenshots I took showed the same number of able crew but slightly different hull repair rates. There is probably some kind of UI delay affecting the numbers shown.

I thought this thread was about how the leadership trait is too powerful (and quite frankly it is if you take 5 officers with it)

Good! May the Emperor bless your air car purchase.

One of those things where you login to X.
You die, respawn, full crew again, but now it's Y.
Then say you zone, and now it's Z.

The funniest such thing I came across though, was pulling a +30 Sensor Probe console and having the Stealth Detection Rating increase.

There are several things in the game where the calculations/recalculations depending on what you've done will be different.

Like that hull repair thing - the Starship Hull Repair number stays the same - but sometimes you still have to reslot the SIF to get the hull repair rate correct.

Hell, it's like Ker'rat - when everybody first enters the zone - it's fine. When it restarts, when the game "recalculates" where a player should start - well, everybody ends up at the KDF spawn.

Not everything is broken like that - I went through and tested weapons/weapon consoles without seeing any issue. But with various Eng/Sci consoles, as well as other gear, and as mentioned here with the BOFFs...there's other problems, meh.

Even in logging in, the calculations can be off. I'll usually beam to a ground instance and then back - because it tends to do the calculations correctly then. But with death in PvP or PvE, that's not really an option - so it's usually a case of trying to find what I'll have to reslot...otherwise it will be off.
