Its the same with World of ********'s Store. I tried purchasing game time when I used to play and it just wouldnt work. I got woke up really ******** early the next morning by Barclays Fraud Squad I was like what the hell, you lot know what bloody time it is lol

Doesn't the use of the wording "other than" nullify their NO EXCEPTIONS policy? It clearly states that (Moneybookers) will NEVER ask yet they add other than themselves.

Not sure where to post this...

I have always bought Zen by debit card, which redirects me to and is handled by Skrill Moneybookers. I do not and have never had an account with Skrill Moneybookers and all transactions have gone through instantly.

However, I received an email today from them advising my account had been locked until I provide colour scanned proof of my ID and address! I tested this out by trying to purchase more Zen today and sure enough it would not process stating my account had been locked.

As I have said I have never had an account with Skrill Moneybookers, (which I have double checked by going on to their website and trying to login and doing a password retrieval to the email address I would have provided and they have sent their email too and they have no record of an account), so why do they have my details Cryptic/PW to email me about my supposed account been locked?

Cryptic/PW could you get your billing team to comment... I am not willing to provide my sensitive data to a Third Party company you use to process my payments to you. This appears to be a breach of UK Data Protection laws and dependent on the response I may have to report to the UK authorities. It is also very worrying that this could be a scam and a data leak etc.

We understand your concern regarding Skrill/Moneybookers requesting such information out of the blue, but we can assure you this is no scam. Skrill/Moneybookers is a UK based company that processes direct credit transactions for us. Most of the time, when you make a purchase they simply process it and we award the Zen, but occasionally, maybe after a large purchase or a significant amount of spending, they will want to verify your account; that's where those documents come in.

We understand that many people feel wary about giving out such information, however, because Skrill/Moneybookers demands such a high level of verification, they are an extremely secure form of payment. If you do not wish to provide them with the information, you do not have to, although you will need to switch to using another form of payment.

We apologize for the scare. Please direct any further questions you have regarding Skrill/Moneybookers directly to billing via ticket. We'll be happy to answer any remaining questions you may have.
