They will continue as they are. Warp cores are adding minor bonuses to ships now (and they are fairly minor).

They don't have flat power bonuses like M/A cores, but they have an "up to" bonus to a single power system based on something called Singularity Charge. Better ones have skill bonuses, but some have 20% increased singularity charge build rate, implying that whatever singularity charge is it can be accumulated.

Blue ones have a power attached. Many of these appear to modify powers rather than grant them directly, like Improved Plasma Shockwave and Improved Singularity Jump. Could be innate warbird powers, alternate Romulan versions of boff powers, or new boff powers (possibly even Romulan-only).

There's a couple theories floating around, mine is that singularity charge is a sort of "mana bar" that builds with time and can be used for unique Warbird powers.

true, but 7.5% power synergy bonus on a Mk X blue isnt that bad, can give a little more to another power level based on which one you get. have no idea what a blue Mk XII might do, 9% maybe?

I'm pretty excited to check out the new warp cores. They have done a LOT of work on this season! I remember somebody pitching an idea that involved warp cores and computer cores, I guess they took some of the suggestion!
Great News!

It's pronounced "S.T.O." "Stow" sounds idiotic! lol

The Warbird is a big ship like a cruiser, so I don't expect much from it. Maybe it turns even worse than the galaxy! It would be very depressive to see

From tooltips and Ask Cryptic, "Warbird" seems to be the generic term for all Romulan ships, from the bird of prey up to the Scimitar and that nightmarish Scimitar variant that showed up on the Tribble foundry, whether they're fast, slow, or whatever. The ship you're referring to would now be designated the more specific "D'derix Warbird." And, yeah, it might be big and slow, but others like, say, this warbird may not be.
