Thought it would be fun to have a topic dedicated to where Trek has had cameos or references to other sci fi franchises, or has been referenced in other franchises.

Battlestar Galactica (TOS Enterprise)

First Contact (Millenium Falcon)

Can I have one? It is on screen, it is canon!

TNG :

In the episode "Hollow Pursuits" there is a problem with a container containing the vaccine for "Corellian Fever." Corellia is a planet in the Star Wars universe and is the homeworld to Han Solo and Wedge Antilles.

Stargate Atlantis. Sheppard is lectured about about always getting the alien chick like "Captain Kirk". During the lecture, some alien hot chick throws Sheppard a line, and they start making out. One of the scientists throws his hands up, rolls his eyes, and says;'Oh my god...he is Captain Kirk" I fell out of my chair laughing.

So inhumane superweapons, mass murder, and canon nonsense is okay, but speedos are too much for some people.

The current Syfy.com Warehouse 13 trailer Endless Wonder at the 4:00 minute mark declares "Let's play 'Name That Star Trek Spinoff'", then proceeds to show all the Trek actors it has accumulated.

In Stargate SG1, in the episode where the team, um... "borrows" the first Prometheus class starship, Jack O'neill sent back a communique to Earth offscreen, informing them of their situation... and also asking to name the ship "Enterprise".

He was flatly denied.

There was also an episode where they first fly the X-302 (Human-built "Death Glider"), in which O'Neill asks about Phasers
