Just played Ground zero and i have never been so annoyed by a mission. First theNebula, lighning and other flickering gave me an headache. especially that giant purple nebula at the lower right corner of the map. i coldnt see the Sitesh clearly because my screen was totally purple and like "Disco lights"

Then the Sitesh. Make ist weaker and fix it. i had to play three times to kill that thing. First time it was all flying around with full speed like forever always outside my weapons range, suddenly heading straight at me, tractor beam, deactivating my weapons, Plasma torpedoes, and i was dead.

Second time it was flying to the edge of the map and got stuck behind there. So it could still attack me i could not attack, not even target it or the plasma torpedoes the Sitesh fired at me. Had to restart.

Third time IRW Sitesh was stuck in Hobus I and unable to move or to fire. so i could sit there and fire till i won.

But it is not only the sitesh, i saw many BoP, Escorts stuck in Planets, Stations, Asteroids from where they could attack me but i couldn`t even target them.

I just went elsewhere, leveled up and skipped it. I didn't even bother after the first four times I died instantly (with a heavy cruiser and explorer cruiser). Still, would be nice to look at the wreckage that destroyed the Romulan Star Empire...

i know this prob but i made it with "eject warp core plasma" it helped alot and also Tyken rift/Gravity well those stuck in asteroids are easily killed with the plasma and the roft/well are used to destroy the torpedoes

This is the one mission I refuse to do on any of my alts, no matter their level. Extremely rustrating and NO FUN. I sometimes skip "Stop the Signal", too, although there are time when that one's do-able.

I skipped this message as well. I figured I would wait till later when I was stronger to do it, that made it worse. I am vice admiral with a Jem H'Dar ship (hull is 45000) and still got wiped out quick. It got stronger too. So I will continue to refuse to do it as well. It would be nice to stay with the story line but I don't need it that bad. That mission must be scaled back a bit.

Those Romulan plasmacrunchers can be incredibly annoying, and not all that hard to deal with.

The plasma torpedoes they shoot have a tendency to help you alot if u fly close to the romulan ships, they seem very weak to their own plasma burn.

When fighting them and get hurt alot, pack a engineering console to defend yourself.
Plasma Damage
Ablative <== most usefull early on, disruptor/phaser/plasma/tetryon
Tetraburnium <== most usefull for end story mission enemies, plasma/tetryon/polaron/antiproton
Electroceramic <== has the best defense against plasma & tetryon

those big nasty Dexies ... fly close to them and their own torps will hurt themselves more than they hurt you
When fighting anything that shoots plasma (romulan/undine/borg) Hazard Emitters are your best friend

Yes, this mission can be annoying at first. It's really the first time you actually need some basic tactics to win. There are several ways to deal with these guys.

I recommend picking up Polarize Hull. It makes you immune to tractor beams. Once they hit you with a tractor beam, hit polarize and then evasive maneuvers to zoom away when the torp spam comes. You can then safely shoot down all the torps as they come at you. You can also try to fly farther away than 5km as that is the tractor beam's maximum range. Having hazard emitters to help with the plasma burn is nice too. Both hazard and polarize will help when fighting borg as well.

I just struggled with the same ship myself and getting wrecked. I thought I was doing myself a favor by keeping my distance, activating all of my shield abilities and laying into him with every weapon I have, but he kept tearing through my shields like paper. Finally, I charged him.

I got right up under his nose, still laying into him with all of my weapons. When my shields dropped, I got under him and kept at him with mines and turrets. He was still doing a lot of damage, but I used the time to throw up my defensive abilities to keep myself alive. Called in a holo fleet. Apparently, there is a blindspot under the ship, so I waited there while my shields got in better shape. When I looked up and saw her hull at 50%, that was all the confidence boost I needed. Came out and ended her.

Best piece of advice I can give is to get close.

The grief this mission causes is not worth it. Immunize hull does not work. The ship is over powered. Some very skilled or lucky players may be able to beat it, but most won't. The point of a mission is to be challanging and fun. This was neither. Save youself some time and frustation and skip it.

Yeah, the Sithesh is a bit overpowered. But in my opinion, that just makes killing it so much fun.

Most of the NPCs in the game are so easy. It's nice to have an enemy you have to outsmart for a change.
