Il ask the same thing I did in Tribble, is the new UI more or less memory intensive than the old one?
The Somraw, K'tinga, D'Kyr, D7, Kumari, Xindi carrier, Xindi escort, and the T'Varo are all older than the Constitution Refit and yet they are tier 5. The Constellation is made up primarily of Connie refit parts and it is tier 5, there is no logical reason whatsoever for the no tier 5/6 connie rule.

Oh I like!

Only one thing sticks out to me though that I'm not too keen on. The green color for the ship HP background doesn't seem to work well at all IMO. Any chance we could get an option or something to change it? Personally I would like white or maybe a cool blue instead of green. Everything else I like.

I'll be honest here. I've been on Tribble a few times already, and I'm not 100% sure I care for 'reverting back' to a LCARS style for the UI. I actually like the Current UI personally.

Oh goodie, we can change the color schemes to one of 9 pre-sets... HOW? And IIRC, it is a global, not per-character change. Yea, right... not gonna do that then. Also we can't create our own color scheme. User Customization, isn't that a Cryptic hallmark?

It seems that the supposed memory reduction with this UI is a good thing, I guess. I honestly haven't seen much difference in my gameplay.

And one last thing...
With the Current UI, I did expand out the UI active Windows (Inventory, DOff, Character), on Tribble though, the UI readjustment values made those Windows too large and filled up more of the Screen than I even cared for. Not happy about that at all.

Thank you for the time...

Cryptic, would you actulaly like me to spend actual Money? It's Simple:
Full, Story-driven, select from start 1-50 Klingon Side
Scrap current Lock Box & Lobi system for something more reasonable
Expand Dil and Fleet Marks to regular story content

I agree, it should be tuned. The whole shield balancing section needs a good pass. It's jagged like a video game from the 90's. It doesn't look like it matches the rest of the UI. I'm trying to come up with a constructive suggestion, but having a hard time..... I'm not really a creative person... lol

725 x 102 (or current exchange rate) DL = 73950 DL <- can you earn that per hour in game?

Not always! If it's too low then yes it's a nightmare, but contrast is not the be all and end all of UI usability.

Low contrast = unusable. Think about how hard it would be to have yellow buttons with pink text on them.
And contrast that is too high = Just as unusable, but with extra pain.

Think about how hard it is to use when the wrong colours are used.
There was a sig here, but I gave up. Thanks {REDACTED}

It's also detracted by the fact that this comes up in all space dialogue windows (haven't checked ground yet). It would be nice to select the viewscreen layer and/or turn it off. I don't know if that's possible, or how easy it would be to implement, but it would be a nice option to have.

i did a mission last nite and for some reason found it to be very hard to follow. The current one you could do a quick glance and see where you are at. The OVERLY big, thick white indicators are just harder to read to me. I ended up just using the ones around the ship. Also the BRIGHT white is very distracting and out of place with the rest of the color scheme.

The picture of the new UI in full does not include the current boff picture+ability setup.

Does this mean all boff abilities will need to be added to the player power taskbar?
