Kormek: He couldn't have missed a temporal disturbance of that magnitude. No doubt the Dresden is coming to see what just happened, and won't they be surprised to find a strange ship out of nowhere. When it arrives here, open communications with them. While the comm link is active, have our engineers begin their procedure.

Harris: Understood. This would work better if two ships were coming, but we will have to make do.

*On the Phantom, moving quietly around the Thresher*

Science officer: Sovereign class ship on sensors. It is warping to this location and will be here very soon.

Omet'etan: Your orders Captain?

Voporak: Maintain position for now, let's just see how it plays out.
*U.S.S. Dresden, Bridge. Tucker is sitting in his Command Chair when the Science Officer turns to him.*

Science Officer: Sir, should we call for help from Command? A Temporal Disturbance--

Tucker: Is an anomaly, Lieutenant, not a Military threat.

Science: What about the Subspace Wake?

Tucker: Same deal.

Colms: Sir, it could be a sign of a trans-dimensional incursion.

Tucker: It could also be a sign of tiny elves messing with our instruments, for all we know.

Besides, Starfleet's mandate, remember? No one has ever seen anything like this before.

Colms: Aye sir.

Helm: Captain, we're approaching the event epicentre now.

Tucker: Drop to impulse power.

Helm: Captain, we're approaching the event epicentre now.

Tucker: Drop to impulse pow...

Manheim effect.

Colms: Seems like.

Tucker: Lieutenant--

Science: I know, I'll try to speed up the Temporal Shields.

Sir, there's a vessel right at the centre of the event.

Tucker: On screen.

*The Thresher appears on the Viewer.*

Analysis?

Science: Checking records.

The computer's asking for complete log access. Temporal Prime Directive Override.

*Tucker and Colms look at each other puzzled, before Tucker looks back to the Science Officer.*

Alright.

Computer, full log Authorisation granted, Tucker 9-5-0-Alpha-1-2.

Science: Records found a match...

The ship resembles a vessel recovered a century ago; the U.T.S. Wells, a Wells-Class Temporal Ship.

Colms: Temporal Ship?

Science: Apparently from the 29th Century. In that time, Starfleet's duty is also to protect the time stream.

That's all the information the Computer released. The rest is Omega 12 locked.

Tucker: Hail them.

*Kormek nods to the chief engineer, who begins working, and Harris activates the viewscreen*

Kormek: This is the NCV Thresher of the United Federation of Planets, Captain Kormek speaking. I bet you're wondering why we're here.

*Through the comm link, the Thresher and Dresden's sensor arrays are linked*

We are searching for a particular Starfleet Admiral, perhaps you might be familiar with him?

*In engineering*

Engineer 1: There. An ever so slight distortion.

Engineer 2: Let's see it on this console.

*The console displays an almost nonexistent visual distortion*

(Bridge) Kormek: His name is Voporak, and he has violated the Temporal Prime Directive more times than anyone cares to count.

(Engineering) Engineer 2: Computer, draw a silhouette around that.

*A few seconds later, the computer makes clearly visible the outline of a Sao Paulo class escort, coming about from the starboard bow of the Thresher.

(Bridge) Kormek: You may also have noticed your sensor usage just went up. All I can say is, thank you for your assistance.

*The Thresher launches a burst of charge particles from the main deflector, causing the Phantom's cloaking device to deactivate*

(On the Phantom's bridge): We are no longer cloaked!

*The Thresher activates a series of tractor beams and gravatic pulses at the Phantom, but they have no effect. Still on the visual communication with the Dresden, Kormek does his best to look unconcerned that a 29th century vessel failed to capture a much older one*

(Thresher bridge) Kormek: On that note, would you please assist us in disabling this criminal's ship?

(Phantom bridge) Voporak: Bring Zeta-Omega weapons online.

Terrace : computer play track 6

Soon relaxing classical music plays over the speakers as terrace goes trough a long list of reports made to him. Since the end of the little war he has been even more busy with reports of anomalies and pirates and unknown ships he is very uneasy.

*Tucker acts with unusual calm in the situation.*

Tucker: Mr Danes, lock onto both ships.

Danes: Aye sir.

Weapons locked.

Tucker: Red Alert.

*The Red Alert klaxon sounds.*

Put the Black Phantom on this frequency.

Ops: Channel open.

Captain Kormek, U.S.S. Black Phantom, you are both ordered to power down your weapons.

I mean now, gentlemen. According to the Temporal Prime Directive, Voporak is under our jurisdiction.

Now, if you wish to lobby me to extradite him... you'll have to beam over and present your case to me.

Admiral Voporak, if you wish amnesty, the same applies.

Otherwise, Kormek, in accordance with Federation Law, I'm afraid I'll have to place you under arrest.

*Tucker remains calm, knowing what he just said was the equivalent of a mouse threatening to eat a cat.*

*Voporak smiles at both of the starship commanders on the viewscreen*

Voporak: My dear Kormek, you think that you have me. Oh, how misjudgment has finally caught up with you. Fire.

*The Phantom's dual cannons fire one shot of Zeta-Omega energy at the Thresher. Its shields, engines, weapons, inertial dampers, transporters, and almost all of life support are knocked totally offline. There are hull breaches all over the ship, and the Thresher's bridge is on fire. Kormek grabs a console and drags himself off the floor, fatally injured. He looks up in time to see another shot from the Phantom, twin blasts that rip through the Thresher. Seconds later, the Thresher is blown to pieces by an antimatter explosion from its warp core.*

*Voporak looks at Tucker, no longer smiling*

Voporak: I suggest you shut up and leave, good sir, before you suffer something similar. You don't know who I really am, how much I know and how long a time I have experienced. Off the top of my head, I can think of 37 ways to destroy your ship right now. 29 end with a warp core breach.

Tucker: On the contrary, Admiral, I have no intention of harming you.

I was stalling for time. Once you were both on board, I could just hear your stories and rule in your favour once reinforcements arrive.

However, I would like to know how many Temporal incursions you've enacted.

*Tucker turns to his Operations Officer, who nods.*

Voporak: That is not important. All you need to know is that one's about to happen. Unless you want to talk about something else, I'll be on my way. *he turns to the science officer* Prepare to raise the cloak and trans-jump.

I would've expected you to try and have my head on a platter right now, but I guess not everyone is the same.

OOC: Doesn't my signature look so fitting right now? That is a Sovereign class, after all.

Tucker: Lieutenant, if you'd please.

Ops: Aye sir.

*The Black Phantom loses Main Power, as the new weapons are deactivated, their control programs removed from the computer, and all the computer logs and records since Voporak's first appearance backed up onto the Dresden and wiped from the Black Phantom's Computer Core - including the schematics of the refit and everything to do with the ship's temporal technology.

It also accidentally wipes the replicator and sets the computer playing the trololol song on a loop.*

Err... the music was an accident sir.

Tucker: Did the rest of it work?

Ops: Yes.

*Tucker turns back to the Viewer.*

Tucker: What just happened, Admiral, is that we used your prefix code to wipe every record made after your first appearance in this time period from your computers. We also rendered your refit weapons useless and deleted the schematics for them.

Oh, and we also deleted every mention of any form of temporal travel you had stored in your computer.

Now, you can make a time-jump if you like, but it'll be the only one you can make from this point.

Personally, Admiral, I have nothing against you, but I have to uphold the Temporal Prime Directive. I can't allow you to be making time-jumps to every point imaginable in Galactic history. One encounter with the Temporal Starfleet is enough for me.

It's your choice; the Federation has no problem with you remaining in this time period and I won't stop you from making this jump if you really want to, but make sure you're making the right choice by you and your crew first. The Time Cops will still be looking for you, but we can protect you here. We both know you won't get that protection back in 2409. The Federation will hang you out to dry.

*Voporak sits, silently, with a look of almost regret*

Voporak: Why, Mr. Tucker, must you have done that? You leave me no choice. Time is a tricky thing, full of redundancies and paradoxes. What do you really know of me? That time is nothing? I have lived well more than a lifetime, of which you know nothing. Past, present, future, they have no meaning. In my realm, they are one and the same. You do not understand me... and if you keep thinking as you do, you never will.

*Still looking straight at the viewscreen, Voporak issues a command* Voporak: Initiate temporal maneuver Omega VII. Show this fine captain what I mean. *to Tucker* I am sorry if no one is going to like this temporal incursion, but I ran out of friends a long way back down the timestream.

*A temporal trans-jump portal opens up by the Phantom, but the ship does not move through. Instead the rift remains open.*

Voporak: What is happening is that I just started a trans-jump; however, by not moving into it, I have created a signal to myself. These vessels account for almost half the temporal incursions I have made. And I do know this: I am sitting here in front of you. Logically, Mr. Tucker, I will win. Without me surviving to return to my time, I wouldn't be here. I also remember this happening before, many times, because I was present at each and every one.

*The rift glows with energy as a Maelstrom class comes out. Moments later, the U.S.S. Dreadnought appears, followed by Prometheus class U.S.S. Predator, the original Defiant class U.S.S. Black Phantom, and a Jem'hadar Dreadnought. Multiples of each ship begin coming through. Voporak still looks at the viewscreen, his face emotionless.*

Voporak: I am on every one of those ships, including the Dominion ship I stole. I will offer you the chance again, pack up and leave.

*In his mind, Voporak knows exactly what is about to happen*

Unknown voice: Voporak, surrender now.

*A fleet of 29th century warships moves toward Voporak, past and present. Tucker is hailed by the lead warship*

Temporal destroyer captain: This is a delicate situation, captain, but one that must happen. For your own sake, seal all records of this event and leave.

*Voporak communicates amongst his own ships and they open fire on the temporal fleet*

Now captain! This must end here and now, and I know for a fact you don't ever show up on temporal records again! Dresden, get out of here!

*In his own mind, the warship captain knows he will correct the timeline once and for all. But, as records show, Temporal Investigations has sent the fleet on a suicide mission.*
