Just to point out as well btw... this is a tribble change... still a good chance this never goes to live at all.

Pvp community- hey cryptic can you increase the arc slight of dual cannons so they are worth while?

Obviously GPG does not need to be buffed. It needs a substantial nerf.

SNB and other science arcs I have more mixed feelings on. Did they need to be buffed? No. On other hand, the buff isn't going to do anything particularly ruinous, but it could lower the skill gap some, make science more accessible, and increase the viability of slow boats. Overall, a bit of a wash.

On the subject of arcs:

What if single beam arrays had their arc increased to 360 degrees? We all know beams need buffing,; this would help cruisers without helping escorts.

That would result in their lower dmg (cryptic logic). Already pitiful dmg made even more pitiful. Turrets with rapid fire would be better.

I would prefer to link beams to single array toggle. Raising the base dmg, reducing the number of hits, making them more efficient, more bursty, same dps.
