So for all of you who love Star Trek and the Romulan Empire I have this to ask of you,( Do you have what it takes to save the true Empress of the Romulan people Donatra If your answer is "yes" to those questions then you may have found a new mission in life and a home in the Imperial Romulan Fleet.)

Looking for a place to call home?
Have your sights set on Legacy of Romulus, but not looking for a canned FED/KDF spin-off fleet?
Planning a Romulan/Reman with a decidedly anti-FED disposition?
Then the House of Rihannsu may be exactly what you're looking for! We're a Romulan-centric fleet since...well, since the start. This is the KDF wing of the Imperial Romulan Fleet [IRF], and we're geeked for the May 21 launch. Pop by our website (linked in my sig) or chat us up in game. We're about building community, rather than arbitrary rules and requirements. We've got a moderately-established starbase and embassy, with plenty of opportuity to contribute if you want to build up your fleet credit.
The power struggle between Donatra and Tal'Aura continued for about a year until finally in December of 2380, Donatra consolidated her powerbase and made a move against the Star Empire under Tal'Aura; on Achernar Prime she declared the existence of the Imperial Romulan State, with herself as its Empress. Using the parts of the military loyal to her, she took control of Achernar and several other planets, including Xanitla, Ralatak, and Virinat. These worlds were the primary agricultural planets of the Star Empire, which effectively meant that Donatra now effectively held the Empire's food supply hostage. (ST Articles of the Federation)
The state was almost immediately recognized by the Klingon Empire, who were delighted at the prospect of the Romulans being fractured further. Although the United Federation of Planets initially refused to intervene in what it considered an internal Romulan affair, even as it offered humanitarian aide to hungry Romulans upon the loss of their farming planets, by early 2381 the Federation was forced to recognize the sovereignty of the Imperial Romulan State as a result of pressure from the Klingons and a need to show solidarity with its ally.
