Yeah I know its not a DPS machine, but I like the look and its kind of a challenge to see how high I can get this thing. Its for a PvE only setup, I don't PvP with my Federation Character. Also, I'm going to keep using phasers with it, I know their procs are dubious with PvE but thats what the UFP is supposed to use.

This thing can tank all day long, but and eventually kills whatever its tanking, but I'm used to escorts. I know It'll never even get close to an Escort DPS wise, but I'd like to get it up past 5000k on average if possible.

Currently I'm getting about 3500 DPS and peaking out at a little over 5000.

Also this character is a Tac that's complete the Omega rep but not started the Romulan one. Any suggestions would be welcome. I don't have the saucer separation console, but I can get it if it offers a decent improvement.

Use fleet plasma beams, plus the Romullan reputation set, and get three embassy science consoles that boost plasma damage.

If you stick with phasers, I can't help you. You're practically at the damage limit unless you go plasma.

If you have dual Aux2Bat you don't need to double up on the Emergency-To powers. Can drop the -Shields slot for ET1 (because what else would you put there?), and and the weapons for RSP2, then swap in DEM3. Then you combine the DEM with Marion Francis Dulmur, and the cooldown reduction of your Aux2Bat, and go nuts with your drainless broadsides.

Additionally I'd drop one of the rear beam arrays for the Kinetic Cutting Beam, not for the damage, but for the 2-piece Omega Weapons proc, so every time it goes off you'll get a drain-less broadside salvo.

Lastly that single photon launcher is just an afterthought and not your friend (how often are you ever on target with it?). You aren't firing that often which negates the Photon Launcher's single relative strength. Quantum, Tricobalt, Omega, Hargh'peng, or even the Romulan Experimental Beam Array or Hyper Torpedo.

I didn't know there was a Systems Engineer that gave 200 power drain resistance, I'll have to grab one soon as I have a spare 20 million EC. I'll do DEM also in place of one of the Emergency to Weapons. I already have one engineering team, but I can throw those around as heals at least.

This whole thing is a work in progress right now. The Photons are a hold over from my escorts. I'd like to get the assault cruiser retro for the wide angle quantum eventually. And I'll do the cutting beam, I wasn't going to, but you make a point about the 2pc bonus.

Take a look at my fleet galaxy build. It pulls 10-11k in infected elites. The number one thing i see wrong with your build is too many beams. You cannot keep your weapon power at 125 with 8 beams. Its just not possible. 6-7 beams will do more damage than 8 any day. Put a front firing quantum for some kinetic damage or a rear firing chroniton to slow the escorts on your ass.

Also with the aux to bat build drop your 2nd hazard emitter for transfer shields

People in my fleet pull 9k with phasers. Its some tweaks to his build not his weapon type.

With the changes to RCS consoles, try investing in them more heavily for a possible passive DPS increase, particularly with your torps. Also the Tachyokinetic Converter.
