# 1 Crystaline Shards
05-02-2013, 05:04 AM
Hi,

Now hopefully Cryrtic will re-start or extend the crystaline entity event.

But assuming they don't, What do I do with the 7 x Shards I have collected?

Will it be possible to sell them on exchange?

Should I keep them and hope the event starts up again sometime?

I'd go with the last option as I doubt that the shards will become unbound.

The release notes state that any progress will not be lost - so it just looks like you have to wait 'til the event runs again to complete the reputation project.

The retained progress is more likely so that people who have shards but have not added them to the project do not miss out. For a 50k dil project, I very much doubt it will be appearing for some time.

So to retain progress do I start the Rep Project now and add the shards or hold onto the shards in hope of completing the project later.

If you start the event project under the Reputation tab, it will take the shards and, at least, reward Fleet Marks. That's what it did with my 15th shard after I already collected the rewards from the first 14 shards.

If you don't want Fleet Marks, then hold onto them and hope that the event comes back again and that they don't expire.
