My romulan toon on tribble is now at level 41 and i have the Haapax warbird.
I am sure it is 2 ships stuck together and have been trying to figure out if this is so.
Does anyone have any idea on this, and if so,how do i detach them both????

From what I understand, it's like the MVA Escort (Prometheus). It'll have a console/ability that separates the ships, and you'll control one of the pieces.

There are "four" versions of the ship.

Ha'apax Advanced Warbird (free SA1 ship)
Fleet Ha'apax Advanced Warbird (Fleet ship - listed SA1, guessing that's a mistake)

Haakona Advanced Warbird (Zen VA(SA2?) ship)
Fleet Ha'apax Advanced Warbird Refit (VA(SA2?) Fleet ship)

The first two have a Cmdr Eng. The second two have a Cmdr Sci. So you have the Eng focused and the Sci focused versions of the Ha'apax. You can view the actual (subject to change with each patch) stats for each on Tribble at the Ship Vendor.

The Haakona Advanced Warbird comes with the Haakona Separation universal console. This console can be used in any of the four "Ha'apax" vessels. It allows you to separate the Haakona Escort and Haakona Support Vessel (the two vessels you see on all four of the ships) and per the description allows you to fly either one. As mentioned, it's along the lines of the MVAM.
Maal, Klingon, Mogh - Vegar, Orion, Marauder - R'ebel, Romulan, Haakona
Willard the Rat, Reman, F.T'varo - Rave, J.Trill, Kar'Fi - Mysk, Gorn, Varanus
Kopor, Nausicaan, Guramba - Nivuh, Ferasan, B'rel - Venit, Lethean, M.Qin

They're basically the same ships, just different models. Like how there's the Galaxy class, but it has other skins such as the Venture skin.

From the description in the vendor.

Haakona Advanced Warbird:
This ship comes with a universal Haakona Separation console. This console allows you to separate your Ha'apax into two separate ships. You can choose to pilot the Haakona Escort or the Haakona Support Vessel.

The Haakona is the Ha'apax Refit. Kind of like: T'liss -> T'varo, Dhelan -> Dhael, Mogai -> Valdore, and D'Deridex -> D'Ridthau...

The Fleet Ha'apax Advanced Warbird Refit is the fleet version of the Haakona.
The Fleet Ha'apax Advanced Warbird is the fleet version of the Ha'apax.

Course, all of that is subject to change with every single patch through release. Keep in mind, the Haakona's not listed as part of the Legacy Pack which includes the Refit/Retrofit versions of the T1-T4 ships. No Haakona. (Anybody else start singing My Sharona while saying No Haakona? Just me? Er, never mind then.)

I think the reason why the Haakona is not included is for the VA Ship token. That way if you buy the pack, you can use that token for it and have all the cstore ships.

And yes i start singing that too.

I just love this ship. Kinda wish there was a commander tac version but either way the ships are awesome

It is too bad that the pet ship likely suffers from the same problem that all such pets do... Mainly of being too weak to be useful.

I'm curious what the "buffs" might be depending on which you choose to fly. Definitely looking forward to a blog or the ability to test that to see...
