Elite Scorpion Fighters (Hanger, Romulan reputation)

Are all different fighters. Different abilities.

My bad, I thought you were talking hangers.

No, I meant the actual pilotable ship, not the hanger bay pet.

And generally, I like the idea of Romulan ships, they're some of my favorite vessels in Star Trek.

What I don't like is having the Singularity power stapled to them!

So, if I create a Romulan faction toon, I'll get to fly ships I like.

I assume even ignoring Singularity, they can still function like a normal ship, which is enough for me.

Plus, I am rather partial to Battle Cloak, even though none of my cloaking vessels actually have it!

It would be interesting to get full out cruisers and whatever with Battle Cloaks.

But in this case, Cryptic kinda goofed!

They put too much reliance on the Singularity mechanic and forgot to include the innate skill that comes with all fighters.

Without that skill, it's just another average shuttle.

So... no-ones picked up on the fact the scorpion currently has two battlecloaks available?

And by two I mean two seperate abilities, with seperate cooldowns.

If my ship has a power, I want it to be innate, limited only by cooldown.

Basically, everytime I look at something that involves Singularity, I basically dismiss whatever bonus it is as pointless, since I flat out ignore the Singularity powers!

Even to the point of hiding the Singularity meter so I don't have to see it and removing the Singularity power from my skill bar.

I have no idea if it's possible, but if the Scorpion Fighter has no CRF, I may as well ignore it and requisition a Peregrine Fighter instead.
Forgive me, but there is a cooldown to singularity powers. The initial charge up (a slow timed effect. Yes damage makes it charge faster, but you could take no damage and it still slowly increases), the 5-10 second cooldown and the recharge time. It is a nice extra power, but still inferior to BOFF skills or ability consoles.

That's true, also a bug, like being able to equip the Singularity Inverter on your small craft and still use it on your main ship. There's some weirdness right now.
