That's my comp specs, what would be a good game card to play this game with?
Going by the model number, Hp lists the specs here, and say it comes with a 300 watt power supply, which is typical for prebuilts. Not enough for an addon graphics card that would do you any good.
Chances are if you know anything about PCs, since you're wanting to add a graphics card, you could switch out a better PSU (if the case allows for space). 500-600 watt would give enough for a decent card then.
Well tbh if it is pre-built then it's case is built the same way,if he could even fit in 1 of the newer cards as well as keep the case cooled I would be very surprised.
OP,I would say time to grab the RAM out and get a new system.
Tbh mate the cash it would cost you for a new card and PSU you could search the like's of e-bay and could get a very good 2nd hand system.
If you do not know what you are doing then upgrading a pc is not as easy at it sounds, there are so many things you have to factor in before you make or upgrade your system.
Well let's assume I don't have the money for a new computer or a new psu or any of that stuff, let's just say i have enough to buy a game card for around 80-90 bucks, would either of these make this game playable with good graphics and speed?

Out of those two options, the 220 is the way to go. Especially considering the $10 cheaper price you listed before. A 220 is roughly the equivelent to a 9600 from what I understand. I upgraded from a GT220 a little over a month ago. Using that card in STO, I was able to run on medium -medium highish with around 34fps in space and maybe 25 on the ground under most circumstances. It's not the best but it's sufficient.
I had problems with the drivers on mine (as in not being able to update beyond the provided system drivers without experiencing crash after lock-up after crash after black screen after freeze after crash - even doing simple things like watching a movie or listening to music) so I'd stay away from the ASUS model.
