I was just wondering for all the folks that played in open beta and was not happy with the game if they have changed their minds since the launch date?

Nope, they just validated my concerns.

Too many people were expecting a "Miracle Patch" on launch day which would not only greatly decrease the server instability but also improve upon & streamline the existing core features already present. I was hopeful but knew better.

In my honest opinion, STO needs atleast 6 months more of development time (Open Beta) to sort out the techical issues that plague the game (not gameplay bugs, they'll be sorted soon).

For myself though, this game is simply too... simple. Its also lacking in atmosphere and the "Immersion" factor. STO doesn't pull me in like other games do and i'm a huge Sci Fi fan. There was one feature for me which would either make or break Star Trek Online and that was if Cryptic could somehow include a robust exploration system. They have failed in that regard so i will not be continueing with a Sub.

I cannot play the game simply because it has 'Star Trek' in its title.
