the game is far easier than it used to be or should be that being said even when it was "hard" it was easy to make it past the first ten levels PvE and not die keep plugging away it should get at least a little more challenging.

Um yeah, since when does not dieing in the first 10 levels of any game prove something. They are more of a tutorial than anything, getting you acquainted with the game mechanics.

Tat's not the point, point is that you should not be able in any game to beat 5-10 levels harder opponent.

NO CHALENGE = no game

Go find yourself a Romulan encounter or a Jem'Hadar encounter 10 levels above you and try to survive. It won't happen. the first 10 or 12 levels of equal con mobs are easy, they always have. the game does not really begin until you get to about LC 3 or 4. As others have stated, the first 10 or so levels are more or less a tutorial. those levels are intended to instruct players on what to expect in some game play post LC. Come back here and post at commander 2 and tell us how it is then. at that point, I might consider what you have to say.

Also, don't forget they are developing some kind of difficulty slider.

You should have tried palying a Bear Shaman in ***. Powerful class after level 25, but I died about 15 times in the Tortage starter area...
