You are able to select a proxy (or no proxy) if you open the launcher, click Options, and use the Proxy dropdown menu.

You guys (Cryptic GM's) are on the ball, thx. I was in a mission when the first of many warnings came up, I knew then that I had about 10 minutes to finish and I did. Thanks for the heads up, it was nice. I'm glad I joined, this game rocks. It looks better and plays better everyday

From a happy open beta tester and formerly worried headstart player, now a 12 month subscriber

It appears to be preventing access without the proxy too. I am in the UK and am now getting the "You are not allowed to login at this time" message.
I do not have either proxy selected.

If your in game your good, if your not, don't plan to log in for a half hour starting at 1pm pst in the US. I wish someone would of told me I could dof stayed in.
