Crystal is ltcom gear as it's mark iv. You go +2 per tier. Crystal is a fine fleet action for ltcom and needs no buffing or nerfing. Mob camping happens deal with it. If you're in a cruiser or science ship buy an escort and load it out if you want loot. Healing getting credit can be abused just as easily or more so in other games and it can sure happen here.

Ramming is fine. Buff Crystaline Entity so that it's immune or at least highly resistant to ramming.

Make it so the entity uses ramming speed on anything trying to ram it, except the entity does all the damage. That would be hilarious.

"Ram that thing!"

EXPLODES!

Boom, hahaha! I'd so get a kick out of that.

I haven't done this mission after they upgraded it and people use ramming speed to kill it. But what if using ramming speed on the Crystal entity will surely destroy your ship. And if your ship is destroyed during this mission, you end up at the bottom of the list anyhow?

Yes, but if your damage and score was zeroed out if you died, and that ramming the Crystallien Entity would always assure death, that would mean no one would be bothered to do so.

Here's the problem with Ramming Speed:

It's not that it does (lots) of damage, it's that you can combine it with Full Impulse, Emergency Power to Engines, an Engine Battery, and Evasive Maneuvers to make it to TONS of damage.

And until they fix the issues with Cryptic Stacking (coming to a STO or CO game near you!), it'll keep being abused.

The CE just gets one-shotted with that combo. I've seen it go from full health to 0 in a single hit, with one player getting around 500k points.

It would be more logical if you could only use ramming speed when you're already seriusly damaged. There is no sense in wrecking your ship if you're still able to defend yourself.
It should be more of a last desperate attempt to take down an enemy with you, when the ship would be lost anyway.

I agree the skill is overpowered 500,000 damage ? lol

leave the skill in but you shouldnt turn into the ultimate weapon doin it
