No seriously though, it's good to see you. Is this a permanent move or are you on loan? I already know your a decent taco. Over here we like devs who like to talk to us and make shiny content, so you should fit in just fine. (By the way, I favor TNG over TOS too.) Also we like pictures.

To expedite you to midterm, here's a quick STO geography lesson:
Earth Space Dock is like Ren Center.
Our Canada is on Andoria.
Our desert is on Vulcan except our mutants have pointy ears and no sense of humor.
Cardassian space is like our Westside complete with oddly dressed gangs.
Our Vibora bay is on Drozana Station complete with time travel, and it's haunted.
Romulans are to the North ands they're green.
Kingons are to the South and they're red.
Bajor is South a little and west. If you hit Cardassia, you went to far.
Beta Ursae is on top of Alpha Trianguli for some odd reason. (Seriously, who works from bottom to top?)
Borg space is well... we're not sure where Borg space is, but they assimilated Star Trek II to get it.
Short term: a lot more FE's than just 2-3 per year.
Mid-Term: Revamp exploration, revamp diplomacy, add more Klingon science ships (at ensign, Lt, and BG level), add retrofit Orion Tier 5 carriers, add a Tier 5 retrofit Vo'quv, and introduce Ferengi D'Kora class marauder alongside a Ferengi FE. Also, introduce the Ambassador class Enterprise C and the andorian battle-cruiser.

Probably already covered, but I am too lazy to read 270+ pages.
I'd like to be able to design and save a Ship's Uniform, similar to saving a Fleet Uniform, that's automatically applied to all crew. Heck, even if my own uniform was automatically applied to all new crew (insofar as that's possible), that would be a good start.
Can't say I dislike the direction the game has been going. I thought the whole F2P move would be the kiss of death but they seem to be, if anything, speeding up the rate of improvement. Anyways, with S5 in full swing here's what I think needs further work.
The Exchange- There needs to be a feature so that we can search BOs by abilities (ex. Reverse Shield Polarity III)
(Revert) The Diplomacy System- Honestly I'd prefer that the Diplomacy system be returned to it's previous version and separated from the DO system (there could still be a seperate Diplomacy experience for DOs) and returned to being a primary captain based experience
(Revert) Mission Replays- Replaying missions in the ST universe makes a lot more sense as a sort of simulation than actually traveling to the location and magically re-experiencing everything- tl;dr, mission replays should be done from the ship (perhaps in a holodeck?)
Rear Admiral Ship Retrofits- Fairly self-explanatory, but please introduce the retrofit versions of the Star Cruiser, Assault Cruiser, Fleet Escort, Advanced Escort, Reconnaissance Science Vessel and Deep Space Science Vessel

Ship Interiors Customization- Let's see the following: the ability to set crew uniforms, the ability to change the style of full ship interiors like you can with the bridge (like the TOS interior option available with the TOS C-Store package), different style options for the captain's quarters and ready room and more trophies available for said ready room Functionality- Make it so that the various rooms and stations onboard a player's ship have some degree of interactability, onboard crafting stations is a must Holodeck- Lots of potential, see above under the idea for mission replays Onboard Missions- Combat (boarding and being boarded) as well as all the various ST shipboard misadventures
Unique Crafting Options- Most of the crafting options are just upgrades of the same old items that can generally be bought elsewhere. It's useful and can save you some dilithium here and there but it's boring. I liked the Delta Flyer and the associated quests and would like to see more like that (and how lame is it that they removed the Delta crafting and made it another C-Store purchase?)
Move Towards Full Voiceovers- I'm not saying this game is ever going to be TOR, but moving in that direction is a good idea
Expanded Galaxy- More sectors, planets, starbases, social areas and things to do while we're there
