I read the "Del Taco" thread at the top of this page and I know that selling the codes is prohibited, but would it be permitted to trade codes for in-game items? I have lots of real money but I don't have any in-game money and I am in desperate need of some quantum torpedo launchers and a nice shield array.

I don't know how long the codes will last - but I'd be willing to trade someone a code for an in-game item...if we can.

I think the GM's may frown upon this tbh. But there's no harm in asking I suppose.

Edit: My reason being that many people have tried selling game currency and accounts online under the pretence that you get said currency or account free with a paper clip, but they don't fall for such tomfoolery!
But seeing as it's an STO code... hmmmm?! Decisions decisions.

That's why I'm asking. I read the Del Taco Codes thread at the top of this page and it said we can't sell them and I don't want to sell them, just trade them. I can't seem to master making money in STO and I never get any decent loot.

If it helps you can solo episodes by yourself the first time, that does help with better loot.

Yeah...
Unfortunately the code will always represent $1.99 to some degree. Giving it to someone in exchange for items essentially means you bought those items for $1.99.

Nix, how much energy do you have? I wouldn't mind throwing you some if you need it.

Not to me it doesn't...to me it represents a diet coke. If I had the diet coke in any other cup the cup would still just be garbage when I was done. It would hardly be a problem to give someone else my garbage...
