# 1 Further Developed PvP

I know developers are focused at present with fixing things and content that is more of an immediate nature. Having PvP’d quite a bit over the last few days here are some suggestions that I’d love to see implemented soon…

PvP – Conquest Mode
-Higher point totals than a resource battle
-Time based defenses (turrets) auto-built at points that are defended on the order of a new turret every minute or two that it’s owned.
-Adding a progress bar similar to the interacting progress bar for point capture – feedback

PvP – Front Line battles
-20v20 at minimum, better if 30v30 or 40v40
-Able to participate after passing Tier1
-Almost persistent arena – staging areas that are defended by turrets/outposts/bases, control points, final objectives
-1 team starts defending, other attacking for example
-Control points able to be taken, in order, by attackers. Locked for attackers after capture.
-AI controlled ships and or defenses based around patrol of control points
-Timed battle, 60 minutes? 90 minutes?
-Combined Tiers, Tier 2 and 3 together, Tier 4 and 5 together.
-Quest givers within the arena with different tasks.
-Some quests suited to gathering/scouting for lower tier
-Some quests suited to battle for higher tiers
-Missions that reward players for scouting patrol paths, completing a circuit, objective completion only for uncloaked ships at the patrol points
-Missions that reward players for a number of enemy kills, player and NPC
-Missions that reward players for retrieval/scanning of materials (gathering) and delivery to base (# of completions support everyone in the match)
-Missions that reward players for both defending and or attacking depending on side
-Rewards from missions completed within the arena granting SP and badges.
-Completion of the match giving larger SP/credit/badge rewards. Mildly increased for defenders if timer expires without completion or mildly increased for attackers if able to fully take over the map.

These battles could be either in space or on land with different results and objectives…

Would be excellent if it could also eventually be molded into a transition from a space battle to a ground battle.

Possibilities for these things are limitless. Give us objective based combat like what is listed above spanning ground and space. Fight over objectives getting to a base, once the control points around a starbase are taken, shift the fight inside the base for its final completion and assault of a central point/command center.

Even further, generate these kind of conflicts not just with a starbase, but with planetary areas, differing in defenses, climate, environmental conditions that may impact the battle (debuffs or buffs in certain environments based on conditions).

The last step would be to tie these kinds of battles into some measure of area control granting empire wide or maybe zone wide bonuses.

Each of these steps is progress in the right direction. I know that doing everything here would be insane, so rather than dismiss it, start with one or two concepts and add them to a new map. Then do it again and again, building on things.

I’d really love to see stuff like this make it in game.

Are there any other ideas that would really add to the PvP experience? Why not add them to this list?

I like this idea but maybe not the tier 2 + 3 togeather or the tier 4 + 5 because the higher tier will most probably gank the lower tier all the time, theres quite a lot of difference from being at the top end of a tier and the bottom end as there is with all the equipment and stuff

I almost forgot... Also change the queue system and give us a semi-random queue.

Something akin to join first available ground or space or whatever battle...
