Can some give me a straight answer on this? I know that the Attack tab only tells part of the story - for example, it doesn't factor in Weapons Specialization. So how DO you come up with a final number?
I tried the calculator. There's no real option for my Fleet Polarons (Acc x2, Dmg x2), so I went with the next closest thing, which was Acc x2 w/4x Locators (ignoring the Dmg x2 modifier FTM).
Factoring in my Borg Console, Nukara, ZP, Dyson T2 and Rom T2 Rep, along with my two Superior Romulan Operative Boffs, I come out with the following (assuming a target defense value of zero):
Dmg Multiplier: 1.446
Does that sound right? Looks like a roughly 4.5:1 ratio of CritD:CritH. Is that optimal? Or would something closer to 5:1 be better?
Am I correct in assuming that the ultimate goal to ratchet up the Dmg Multiplier? If so, then a mix of 3x Loc and 1x Exp looks like it would push it up by 0.2%, which doesn't seem like much but that's the best I can do without CritD mods to my weapons.
Also, since my goal is to also maximize T4 Placate function, then perhaps I've already reached the right ratio with 4x Locators.
31.5% - no wonder everyone complains I'm all but invisible in matches!
I'm not calculating anything. I'm punching numbers into the "Magical Mystery Weapon Crit Advisor" site referenced by ehrlehn earlier in the thread and then reading back the results to anyone interested.
