No, I'm saying that your choice of skills and what skills you use and in what order will decide the outcome of a battle. People who suck at pvp have no clue what skills to use, so they don't know what to choose and what is a good order.

This is probably directly inherited from PVE where you can literally spam attack and distribute shield and be done with it. Then you go up against a cruiser in pvp that is immortal for the first 2 minutes, and heals and extends shields to his friends. And you got no clue what to do. Because Klingons PVPd, and you farmed PVE.

True, but you do not see that high level person in the lower level PvP ques. But, I do see what you mean. PvP gear makes enough difference to matter, and using the correct skills does make the difference.

Not sure if you mean I PvE all the time, but just so you know I do PvE Khayless Expanse for the badges for the PvP gear. I also PvP about half the time I am on too. While I dont count the PvP ques I get in on, I do count the damage and the kill death ratios at the end of the round. Most of the time I do the most damage, get the most kills, and die a few times to many times depending on the klingons with me or otherwise afk cloaked for easy and free xp.

In any event, I am not getting into a spitting contest about anything else with you. You obviously are in a bad mood, so take my advice and stop anything to do with STO and go watch some TV or something for a bit. If you have cable I suggest comedy channel or maybe the history channel. Just take some time off to relax some before the servers get back online.

Feds probably wouldnt be having so much trouble in PvP if they hadnt nerfed PvE so very, very hard.

Before an escort would likely have taken defenses for fleet actions (I would get double the score of others because I could dps fully and not die while others would)

So while PvE does not really prepare you fully for PvP.... at least before it showed you the basics.

Now the turret strategy is rearing its ugly head again.

The reason you see so many nerf klingon posts is because about 90% of the feds I've seen try to PVP just like they PVE.

Basic math, and I just woke up, so please stop bickering with me about what is better than what. You have your opinon that white gear is good, I happen to think PvP gear is good. Maybe this is the reason you lose, but maybe you don't, I do not know you.

Hrmf............ you do know that the only difference from White gear to Green is a Stats like 20% Crit serverity or 0.1 Acc. or 2% crit. or something else......... the Base Damage is the same. on White, Green, Blue, Purpel.

so no The Gear is not what makes or breaks you in PvP. its all abourt Player skills and BO skills

I hadnt thought about this idea, I was thinking they just had the single strategy of travel as a jumbled up group with mine spams out. To me the mine spam is laughable, but it does work if the klingons do not work together, which unfortunately for me I enter ques solo alot and do end up losing in those. But, when in a "premade" group we tend to win alot more.

Premades are where it is at, but if you go in and try to pug it you wont do as well. Get the gear, get the skill, and get to the pwnage. I rent to pwn, do you?

This is true throughout all the tiers, ive seen an escort try to solo a BoP (me) and a K'tinga (a friend on voice comms) and then complain that he should have won...

Klingons are not OP, ive been in many matches where us Feds would waste them, and there are matches where Klingons would play really well and work together as a team and would win. There are alot of Players out there that just go full speed around the arena on thier own instead of staying as a team, and what makes the Fed team get slaughtered is they feed the klingon players by flying in to them 1 by 1. So its all to do with working as a team and communicating aswell as gaining experience and knowing your abilties.
When I join a match and my team all rushes of in thier own direction then I know for sure I will get owned and lose the match.

Wrong, torpedo example.

MKIV blue does same as MKV green or a MKVI white
Also remember the extra bonuses we get to the weapons such as the crit and acc. If you try to pug with white gear, please let me know who you are, you are an easy target.

But, all jokes aside, you "can" PvP in white gear, but you will be less effective compared to someone who has taken the time to get PvP gear. If someone takes the time to do that, then they will be better off. And if you 1v1 someone as a pug, you will lose if the enemy knows anything about their class and has PvP oriented gear.
