I was wondering if anyone knows how to use the music player in game...
Havn't found any threads in relation to this topic, nor have I found any folders in my STO file where I could add songs/audio files to listen to while playing. (As I'm sure is the purpose behind having the music player)
If anyone could assist me, I would certainly apprechiate it
From what I saw there are two options, iTunes and something else (I don't remember because I use iTunes). It brings up a very simple in-game control pad that controls iTunes in the background. This is useful for people who play in fullscreen mode and don't want to alt-tab each time they want to control their music. The downside is that you have to choose which album/artist/whatever you want to listen to in iTunes first, but once that's done it's kind of handy.
I have the toption to set my default media player as either Winamp, or windows media player, then simply load up what you want on to those and go in game open the media player and hit play.

click "Game Menu" on the upper right corner, after that click "Options", go to the "Audio" tab, so you can then lower the music volume and listen to something different while playing.
