Basically, I miss people in pvp. I'm not saying there's not a truckload of problems, but by now, I'd settle for having KvF pop on a frequent basis, at various points in the day. Having to wait for 15 minutes, only to be dumped in a 5v1 arena match, makes it feel like PvP is in its final days.
I started STO in october '12, started doing some fleet pvp in january '13. And only began to enjoy it halfway summer of last year.
In this short amount of time so much things have changed... Don't get me wrong; I'm very much enjoying Ker'rat, CnH or an arena once or twice. I could even enjoy a proper vaper or a solid heal team.
But as soon I notice the opposition just throwing truckloads of cheese (hold upon hold upon hold, etc), I usually stop doing my best and just fly around just to get it over with (you know, dailies...).
P2w, powercreep, grind and stupid devs yes thats you gecko.
There was never a fun time to face aceton assimilators and that aoe slowdown skill, they where broken from the start I did come up with a ship setup to deal with aceton assim, but basicly the team was fighting 4vs5 when you did that.
