As I recall, the Xbox 360 crowd never supported the PC community when Modern Warfare 2 pulled dedicated servers from the PC community 3 weeks before release. So with that being said, I will go with, yet again... MMOs, why PCs will always beat the console.

Are you serious hahaa? Well what can I say, auto aim over talent... hmm not everyone has talent like me but the XBOX gives it to you..... I guess you win.

FYI - Calling a company names in their own forums always gets you a warning. Friendly tip.

I did some research for you and want to confirm the following:
- They did mention after they finish up and release their sister project "Duke Nukem Forever", they will be working to port it to XBox for you.
- They currently are working with Stephen Hawkins on how to make the XBOX remote work for this game.

The people on Xbox 360 deserve to know when it's gonna come out, if at all . The positive for Cyptic is that you will satisfy real casual gamers, and you won't be Pc centric like most MMOS. It becomes obvious that if you can run it and you don't have problems why don't you be the first to put a real MMO on the 360, and at least open the door to having MMOs.

Now that the game is released on PC, I think that it's time to announce a valiud statement about the 360 version of the game. Remember Cryptic you said it not us. We would be perfectly content if you didn'tsay anything on Gameinformer about a possible 360 version.

This post has been edited to remove content which violates the Cryptic Studios Forum Usage Guidelines ~Dionaea

Ehhhhh so many good games have been dumbed down or suffer from "Consolitus" because of the 360 ports. I truly hope they keep this game PC only. The logistical nightmare of maintaining an MMO on both platforms will cause the PC version to suffer.

What are they gonna do? send Defender after me. I don't give a rat's ass if I get a warning for criticizing their PR and main developers for singlehandedly acting like a bunch of douches when it comes to announcing if their 360 version will be or not be. I guess I could also expect typical PC gamers to think in the box. I remember there was a thing called " special controllers". Much like how Pc gamers have to buy a video card and a nuclear reactor to be able to play the game. As a matter a fact i think we have these primitive things called USB ports that we can plug those special controllers with. I don't know maybe we've alrady tried this technology (i.e : Guitar hero, cowbell hero, band hero, rock star hero, dj hero, rock band, rock band 2,) because those also sucked on the controllers, but whaaa---laaaaa...... we have a special controller.

So, your a bleeding ******, that has erupted like the hoover damn if it were bombed. go get a PC and suck it up... you don't hear any PC gamers complain about the fact that there beloved console games don't receive a port. so suck it up...

all your doing here is making console gamers look like a bunch of whiney bratish nu***s. who become epic flame trolls when developers don't do what they want when they want it...

gawd.

P.S. fixed your typo's for ya. you have a safe trip now.

That's why certain games are just better on PC.
In my opinion, I loathe FPS on a console. I'll trade my controller for a mouse and keyboard anyday. I love my PS3, but I didn't buy it to play MMO's either.
EDIT: I also want to add that PC gamers have far more control over their hardware. I can put whatever parts in my PC I want and i know they are quality parts (or not if you scuzz). To play PC games you have to have a gaming computer, if you've only gamed on console for your gaming then starting from ground zero with a PC is going to seem "not worth it" compared to a 300-400 piece of junk you get Microsoft to build for you.

Oh and controllers suck for serious PC games anyways.

1. Cryptic claims the STO client already runs on the Xbox 360, and they have in-house Xbox versions of the game.

2. The problem with the Xbox 360 release is not porting the game. The problem is getting a licensing and payment agreement with Microsoft. Think about it - STO on the Xbox...who hosts the servers? Do you pay subscription fees to Cryptic, or to Xbox Live? Who does the patching?

Until the lawyers and business guys sort this out, it's going nowhere. Yes, Cryptic talked about an Xbox version in magazines and web interviews. They have ALSO talked about why the Xbox version is delayed, ALSO in magazines and interviews.

Because they can't reach a deal with Microsoft. Simple as that.
